PGPR Bursary
The PGPR Bursary plays a crucial role in supporting students facing financial challenges by providing essential assistance. It helps ease the burden of living expenses, academic costs, and other necessities, enabling deserving students to focus fully on their learning and development.
Donation Tiers & Donor Recognition:
All donations of S$2,000 or more will be recognised, with donors having the option to specify the name to appear on our PGPR's Benefactors Board. If you are a Singapore resident, you are eligible for a tax deduction of 2.5 times the gift value.
PGPR offers the following donation tiers:
- Silver: S$2,000 - S$4,999
- Gold: S$5,000 - S$9,999
- Platinum: S$10,000 and above

Award for Southeast Asia Friendship Initiative (SFI) - 2026
For 2026, the PGPR Student Bursary will be awarded to eligible PGPR residents participating in the Southeast Asia Friendship Initiative (SFI), to provide financial assistance towards the programme's commitment fee. The standard SFI commitment fee is S$500. Students who are successfully awarded the PGPR Student Bursary will be required to pay the full S$500 commitment fee, after which S$250 will be credited to their student account as financial aid.
The award is intended to reduce the financial barrier to participation in SFI and enable students to benefit from the programme while continuing to engage meaningfully in the PGPR community. The number of bursaries awarded will be subject to the funding available and the assessment of applicants against the established eligibility criteria.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants will be considered based on their financial circumstances and any relevant mitigating circumstances.
- Applicants should demonstrate good character and conduct and, where appropriate, active involvement in PGPR, university or community activities.
- Applicants may be required to provide supporting information or documentation to substantiate their financial circumstances.
- Students receiving other forms of financial assistance, grants, bursaries or scholarships may apply, subject to the prevailing rules governing concurrent financial assistance.
- The availability and amount of financial assistance will be subject to the funds available.
